The transmitter attaches to any wood or metal self-latching or self-locking gate, with magnetic contact switches that attach to opposite sides of the gate opening. When the gate is opened, the contact is broken. A wireless signal is immediately sent to a Safety Turtle Base Station, required and sold separately, up to 250 feet away.
