    Our son, who is into various rollersports, is on the skinny side. Most ‘youth’ products are either mismatched sizes (elbows too big, knees too small, etc.) or are either very inferior products that wouldn’t provide protection if you bumped your not-so-funny bone. These are definitely a higher quality product with the plastic caps being large enough to protect the intended areas.
    With is mom on a roller derby league, she knows appropriate protective gear. These provide it.
    The horseshoe gaskets would also be a good idea to avoid pinch points.

    These pads were exactly what I was hoping for…they look cool, feel good, and fit right! We have had a hard time finding the right size for my 8 year old son, so he never wanted to “gear up.” The little kid pads we have had are usually just velcro straps that pinch and itch. THIS pad set slips on, then tightens with velcro straps. Much better quality. These looked like they might be the right size, but it would be helpful for non-sports moms (like me) to have an age range AND size range (height/weight)for the gear. Awesome!

    This is the second set I have purchased of these in 3 years. I play roller derby and am real rough on them but they hold up well and had great protection where you need it for a reasonable price.
